5 Pointz Now You See Me

The Location: Jackson Avenue and Crane Street, Long Island City, Queens.
Music Video Connection: This iconic backdrop appeared in videos for artists like Diddy, Missy Elliott, and Mobb Deep.

The “Final Trick” Connection
In the movie, the Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco) use the graffiti-covered rooftops of 5 Pointz for their massive final performance.
The Scene: They lead the FBI on a high-speed chase that ends right at the “Graffiti Mecca,” where they seemingly turn into rain (actually millions of fake dollar bills) and vanish in front of a massive crowd.
The Vibe: The director, Louis Leterrier, chose 5 Pointz specifically because he wanted a location that felt like a “maze” and captured the “raw energy” of New York City.
Fun Fact: They used over 650 extras on the ground in Long Island City to film that final spectacle.

Look Up at the new luxury high-rises (the 5Pointz Towers).
The Hunt: Even though the “Horsemen’s rooftop” is gone, the developers actually commissioned street artists to create new murals in the building’s courtyard as a tribute to the original landmark
